Holstein explained that they are afraid of the impact a split could have on their kids, are afraid the police will arrest them, and are also ashamed and embarrassed.
Odd. Worrying about the welfare of the children and feelings of shame/embarrassment. Aren't those also reasons why women victims are reluctant to report DV?

I disagree with Ned, its not domestic violence. This was an act of violence by people (women) towards men - that is not domestic violence.

Remember Feminism is a radical idea that women are people, and men are not.

No, because they will have automatic custody of the kids, the male will automatically get arrested, and the general public will be automatically sympathetic to them no matter what the details are. And that's exactly the point, that Ned was making.

Pankaj: Domestic violence is violence committed at home (domestic = at home), so any kind of spousal violence meets that definition. I think the media generally reports violence against women by domestic partners as DV, regardless of the type of violence.

Wasn't surprised at all that the forst words out of the female radio show host was that Steve McNair wasn't a model citizen. Not in so many words, she was saying what just about everyone else is saying: HE DESERVED WHAT HE GOT.
