The theme of the 2005 Onion satirical piece "Wrongly Imprisoned Man Won't Shut Up About It" is that George Howard Buell, an innocent man serving 20 years to life in prison, won't shut up and quit complaining about his situation. The piece is funny but also sad, and it's always reminded me of the reaction so many divorced dads get when they complain about the way they were treated in family court. Perhaps one day we'll see an Onion piece that reads something like this:
"George Johnson, a loving father of three who was permanently separated from the children he loves because of false charges of domestic violence, just won't shut up about it. Johnson, who was very involved in his children's lives until his wife decided she wanted a divorce and booted him out of his house on a restraining order, bellyaches nonstop over the fact that he cannot see his children."

JOLIET, IL—George Howard Buell, an inmate wrongfully imprisoned at Stateville Correctional Center for third-degree sexual assault and aggravated battery, won't shut the hell up about being innocent.
Buell, 46, an Elmhurst, IL electrician, was convicted of raping and burglarizing his elderly neighbor in 1994, despite the fact that he was at work when the crime occurred. He was mistakenly sentenced to a prison term of 20 years to life. Since then, his imprisonment has been a source of nonstop bellyaching.
"I'm completely innocent of the charges brought against me," Buell said in yet another long-winded jailhouse statement last week. "I am a victim of inept police work, conflict-of-interest issues among the prosecution, and a lackadaisical defense. Anyone with even a peripheral familiarity with my case could see the inconsistencies. It's a complete miscarriage of justice."
Buell's insufferable tirades have taken the form of numerous appeals to state and federal courts, unsuccessful attempts to launch public petitions, and e-publishing a 400,000-word autobiography titled Won't Someone Please Hear My Anguished Plea?
"Okay, I get it—he's innocent already," said Eric Holsapple, Buell's court-appointed attorney. "Like I don't know that. I only toiled for, like, forever years making a case out of it. Every time I talk to him, I have to brace myself—okay, here comes the sob story, again."
After spending four years trying to capture the media's attention with the story of his innocence, the wrongfully imprisoned inmate began pestering the courts in 2001 for additional DNA testing or a declaration of a mistrial.
"I will take a lie-detector test. I will do anything. I don't belong in prison," the incessant motormouth said. "The security tape in the garage where I work shows me pulling into the lot at the time the crime took place. It wasn't admitted as evidence. That fact alone should be grounds for a mistrial."
Buell's cellmate, Bob Hannan, has heard the "in jail for a crime I didn't commit" song and dance "about a million times." Said Hannan: "The parking lot surveillance videotape, the horrible injustice. I've heard it all. A lot. I didn't like the way they handled my case either. But you don't hear me yammering about it all the time. It's called moving on."

"Even the unjustly incarcerated should do other things in prison, like lift weights, or knit," Schultz said. "Sadly, securing his freedom seems to be George's sole interest in life. He's obsessed with getting his life back."

It reminds me of claims that fathers are selfish to want a rebuttable presumption for shared parenting..
Members of the feminist family law movement create a false dichotomy by first claiming that the best interest of the children should be paramount and then adding as opposed to the interest of the parents or a particular custody arrangement.
The feminist family law movement would have the public believe that fathers are really not interested in their children. The feminist family law movement would have the public believe that fathers who support shared parenting are selfish and really just want to reduce their child support.
For example, Dame Elizabeth Butler-Sloss of England questioned whether the creation of a rebuttable presumption of shared parenting would create two presumptions for judges, as if shared parenting were not in the best interest of children.
(1) A rebuttable presumption for shared parenting is rebuttable.
(2) Children need two parents.

Don't complain about injustice shut up and take it like a man. Be brave, lie and say that you're guilty. A male is in jail and that's good enough for the books - case closed. Time to stop acting like a victim or have a sex change. All men complaining of injustice are in denial. Believing in ones own innocence is more proof of guilt. These men need to take courses, as many as it takes until they learn that they are guilty. They must stop demanding that there be evidence as this only revictimizes accusers and tests credibility.

Dam it Rik, I was trying to sound like a sober feminist. I guess that's much like police training so I can understand the confussion. It's the Readers Digest version of a womans study text book minus the false stats and history re-writes.
I would say these concepts make more sense to crack-heads then drunks.

All men are guilty of the rapes committed by a few. Rape culture dontchaknow. It's not necessary to punish the person who is actually guilty. It is only necessary to punish somebody who is emblematic of the offending class. Thus the lust for vengeance in the agrieved class is satisfied. And there is no greater tyrant than she who requires revenge.
The rapturous standing ovations afforded Lorena Bobbit - and upcoming for Mary Winkler - are suggestive of at least one reasonable justification for women being denied power.

If the best interests of the children were paramount for feminists, they would not be such staunch supporters of no-fault divorce. Most of the time the "best interests of the children" are out the window as soon as a parent files.
The feminist family law movement is about the best interests of women, period. And getting them as deep into the "oppressor's" wallet as possible.

"Rape" is the ultimate feminazi hate crime. It is the trump card used to spew hate of men. But in fact it would be surprising if even 8% of rape accusations have any basis if fact at all. False "rape" lies has become a feminazi men-bash, an excuse for being late for dinner, a student's excuse for bad greades, and an angry woman's massive club to beat up on men. Evil lying prosecutors like Nyfong and ten thousand others don't care that the accused men are innocent victims, they pander to even the most heinous injustices. Serial false rapie accusers operate in every city with the blessing and support of evil malicous county persecutors.
Even in the few cases where the accusation is true, rape only amounts to sex with the man taking over the dominant female's assumed power to decide. The "crime" amounts to her hurt feelings because he, not she, had the power to decide about sex, a power she has been taught that she own absolutely.
If there were any justice in the American Injustice System (AIS) this innocent man would never have been arrested or brought to trial. His whole story is one of massive injustice and beating up on men by the feminazi and their blue suited SS Gestapo agents. There is no inherrent difference between the feminazi hate program that destroyed George Howard Buell and sent him off to some hellhole priosn, and theWWII Gestapo sending Jews off to Auschwitz. Hate is the same, and hate is evil.

I am speaking for my brother who is currenlty serving a 35 year prison sentence for a crime he NEVER did as well. It is unfair how the court system can run a court room and it is unfair how Child Protective Services work in America! Never trust the two together or you could end up behind bars for NOTHING! 'Frustrations of a single male parent.'
The first time my children and I visited Child Support Services in Tucson, Arizona. We were greeted with darkness and dismay. Black drapes covered the windows, pictures of "Wanted Men" posted the walls. There were 6 or 7 men slumped in their chairs, as if awaiting a walk into hell.
I asked the receptionist why there were no woman's pictures on the wall. She asked me what I wanted. I told her I was seeking help in collecting child support.
Her response has haunted me from that day to this.
"MEN DON'T COLLECT CHILD SUPPORT, MEN PAY CHILD SUPPORT."
She did not even look past my gender, to my children at my side.
I asked to see her supervisor. She left the room and a moment later reappeared with a pack of documents and thrust them at me, then told me to leave the building.
After I filled out their paperwork, I was charged with the support of my children.
In closing I wish to state. "Men raise children, and those children are entitled to equal protection under the law."
I look forward to the day when my children are treated equal.
