Offensive 'Male Bashing Punching Bag' Removed from WishingFish.com

September 15th, 2007 by Glenn Sacks, MA for Fathers & Families

Apparently www.WishingFish.com has now removed the "Male Bashing Punching Bag" in response to this morning's blog post Male-Bashing Punching Bag--'When you're done giving Monster Man a virtual beat-down, you'll feel a lot better'.

When I made the blog post last night, the product's URL (http://www.wishingfish.com/manpunchbag.html) went to the page with the item on it--now it has been redirected to WishingFish.com's home page.

The picture is from another site, which Wishing Fish apparently doesn't have access to.

    WOW Glenn........good job!

It didn't take much for them to run and hide.

  2. Mike Says:

The light of day has always been know to make rats and roaches run.

Unfortunately, in most cases when it comes to child exploitation, child maltreatment and misandry, people live in either with the view that children are maternal possessions ('chatteldren'); they feel that children are worthy to be treated like human lab rats for unproven social experiments just as real rats (or other animals) are used to study cancer and the like (where's PETA, since these people are primarily secular and therefore would classify children as 'animals'; and/or choose to live in ignorant bigited bliss.

  3. callum Says:

Hey Mike, I think that's a little far.

I'm no veggie myself, but I've never seen PETA or anyone suggest children be used for 'social experiments' or as property.

People actually care about children and give them sympathy, just as they do to women. Ever wonder where the expression 'women and children' came from? It's the two groups you can't kill without shame.

They might run, but they can't hide.

All may see this page as it was before by utilizing the Internet Archive Wayback Machine -- a nonprofit organization which snapshots and archives the bulk of websites in the world over time and archives what is presented by them.

So, here is a URL for this particular site on June 3, 2007:

And if you wish to travel back in time on any other web site, use this page and simply put in the URL for the page of interest.

There, folks. That little tip is on me.

    An. Pamphleteer,

The picture doesn't seem to have made it.

    Callum,

I don't think Mike has gone far enough.

Read about mk-ultra. There are plenty of sites, some more and some less reliable. Heres congressional testimony. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-ES8Bv0_8w
    And Clinton's apology.

Also, look for Church Committee documents. Ted Kennedy investigated MK - Ultra.

Read about the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center, located in Canton, Massachusetts, 20 miles outside Boston.

Read about the many kids who have (usually) diluted versions of adult psychotropic drugs shoved down their throat, when the only "testing" done is post - treatment observation. Glenn has quite a bit to say about Ritalin.

While plenty of people argue that Departments of Child services go too far, I was taught as a kid *by cops' actions* that my complaints about abuse wouldn't be taken seriously because I was 1) just a kid, and 2) a boy.

  7. callum Says:

    Very interesting indeed.

Although I still think children being used as pawns by women in divorce is a different issue from drug trials.

Thank God we don't have boys being put on ritalin just for behaving like boys. There is still a lot of bias towards females in education, I myself can testify. But there's less of a 'drug culture' when it comes to health generally.

"The light of day has always been know to make rats and roaches run. "

For your comment, you need to apologize to rats and roaches everywhere.

  9. Melinda Letzing Says:

The punching bag has not been for sale on our website since April 2007, and I believe the manufacturer has since discontinued it as well. The web spiders were apparently still cataloging the inactive link, and we deleted it from our system when we realized it was upsetting people. We apologize for any offense caused by this item.

  10. gwallan Says:

    @Melinda Letzing

Thankyou muchly for your contribution here.

That your company was willing to delete this product based on negative feedback is quite refreshing news.

Typically the responses to complaints about this type of product or merchandising result in responses to the effect that "it's only a joke, get over it".

Now if only the producers of the "All Men Are Bastards" knifeblock were half as responsive.

  11. Jay Says:

Ms. Letzing's candid admission that they had no idea that such an item might upset people is more proof that the misandric brain-washing of our society by feminism is almost complete. Who can dispute that if the company had been approached to sell a gender-reversed punching bag ("punch her here" with arrow to face, "punch her here" with arrow to breasts, etc.) that Ms. Letzing and her company would have realized its offensive nature immediately. Feminism is against sexism and condemns all domestic violence. Right.
