Amanda Marcotte Named 'Blogger-in-Chief' for John Edwards Campaign

(Marcotte, you may recall, is very critical of the men's movement, and recently labeled my column Men Blamed for Marriage Decline but Women's Relationship Wounds Often Self-Inflicted, Chicago Tribune, 1/21/07, "hateful").
As I mentioned before, I think Amanda is a talented writer, and I like her personally, but I am surprised. Marcotte is--and I don't even think she would disagree--a foul-mouthed radical feminist. Seems like an odd blogger-in-chief for a presidential candidate--and a fodder-rich target for Edwards' enemies.
