Now THAT'S a Good Ad--They Have My Business

January 24th, 2008 by Glenn Sacks, MA for Fathers & Families

What a wonderful Father-Son ad from First Choice Holidays in the UK. The ad is called "Slow Motion Hugs."

To contact First Choice to commend them for their positive, accurate portrayal of a father-son relationship, click here.

The ad was produced by the Beattie McGuinness Bungay advertising agency in London. To commend BMB for creating the ad, see below.

I saw that advert and saw the same thing.

Apparently ad companies are starting to realise that mocking men isn't the only way to sell products.

  2. Danny Says:

I am so glad they didn't go the "approved" route of having some idiotic dad scrambling to make travel plans just to have the intelligent mom save the day by showing him how easy it is to use First Choice.

There are ways to advertise a product without resorting to insulting an entire demographic be it gender, race, religion, or whatever.

  3. Stephen Says:

I sent my thank you's. It's good to see a positive portrayal of men occasionally. I hope to see even more.

  4. Michael H Says:

    Same video. Different audio:

Every day ___ number of children are separated from their fathers by Family Court judges.

    Father erased from video.
