Feminist Blogger Amanda Marcotte--It's Starting...

Though Marcotte has been very critical of the men’s movement (and of yours truly), I think she is a talented writer, and I like her personally. But Marcotte is a foul-mouthed radical feminist, which is an odd blogger-in-chief for a presidential candidate. I predicted that she would be a "fodder-rich target for Edwards’ enemies." This has now begun.
The Blogger News Network today released a brief compilation of some of Marcotte's radical opinions--see below. After Marcotte's elevation to the post I wrote to her wishing her well, and I meant it, but I'll be surprised if she lasts very long in her new job. I'll be happy to be wrong.
The Blogger News Network cited the Marcotte blog opinions below which will embarrass Edwards. Other observers--such as, for example, an assistant for Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity--could find far more, including some which are worse. According to Hayes, some of Marcotte's opinions include: NASCAR is an emblem of Southern White Supremacism; the Republicans are a misogynistic, homophobic, racist party; if you value the traditional Canon, it’s because it upholds White Supremacism; Christian supporters of Israel hate Muslims and seek the end of the world…but are still eager to kill off some Jews, as well; the crucifixion of Christ makes fundamentalists yearn to torture Muslims; and religion is bad for society, and charity is an excuse to harm the weak.

Did you see what this lady wrote about the Duke Rape case only two weeks ago? She actually wrote the white boys raped that black girl (she was far more vulgar) as a statement of fact. Obviously she discounts the mountain of evidence already out there showing this lady made it up (including the fact this is not the first time she has done this).
Regardless, this lady is a feminist of the first order and John Edwards is not worthy of any consideration to be President by hiring her. If John Edwards becomes President I am leaving the country - and that is no joke!

Amanda is actually upset because these white boys are supposed to lie down and take their punishment quietly. Punishment for what? For being privileged white boys, of course. Amanda feels that she is about to get cheated out of her vicarious satisfaction in seeing their lives destroyed. The fact that they are innocent of the ACTUAL CHARGES is irrelevant to her (and sad to say, many of the commenters at her blog). They are guilty in her eyes of the only important charge, as stated above.
Yes Amanda - it is unfair that you may not get the lynching to which you were so looking forward. When life becomes fair from your twisted perspective, it will be the end of justice, truth, fairness, and integrity. So perhaps your blog performs an unintended service: as long as you continue to squeal, things cannot be too bad!
