A Soldier's Sad Letter, with a Twist...
October 11th, 2008 by Glenn Sacks, MA for Fathers & FamiliesI often receive letters from soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan who say their exes are blocking them and their families from contact with their kids, or who have have family law and child support woes. Recently I received this one:
I am a solider in Baghdad, Iraq and my ex is not allowing my son any contact with me or my parents, which was the only way I could speak to him. If you could write with advice, I would appreciate it.
The letter is signed "Sincerely, Maureen."
