Homicide News in Canada is Good; DV Advocates Glum
October 31st, 2009 by Robert Franklin, Esq.The recently released report on homicide in Canada by that nation's official statistics agency shows that Canadians enjoy safety undreamed of by Americans (StatsCan, 10/28/09). Canadian women in particular are safe. Indeed, homicides to Canadians who manage to stay out of gangs are vanishingly rare.
The most recent figures are for 2008. They show that, in a nation of about 34 million, there were a total of 611 homicides, which the Glossary of Terms says corresponds to the statistics in the U.S. on "non-negligent" homicides. In other words, they're excluding accidental deaths. That means that, on average, about 1 in 55,000 Canadians was a victim of homicide last year. That's less than one-third the rate of non-negligent homicide victimization in the United States. Still, it represented a 2% uptick since 2007.
Some 138 of those 611 victims were gang-related. Only 24% of victims were women which is the lowest rate of female victimization since 1961. Homicides by spouses and former spouses totalled 62 with 45 victims being women versus 17 men. StatsCan doesn't include in its report whether it counts murder by proxy as spousal murder or a "multiple offender" crime as is done in the U.S. Because wives tend more than husbands to hire out the murder of their spouse, in the States, murders of husbands are often obscured in the "multiple offender" category.
Whatever the case, the spousal homicide rate was the lowest in over 40 years. Homicides with a female victim dropped by 17 to 146, or 0.87 per 100,000 population.
But domestic violence advocates weren't buying it. This article quotes Lori Rudniski of the Family Violence Consortium of Manitoba as saying,
"Does it mean domestic violence incidents are down? I don't think so. At the agency levels, we're seeing more complex needs from the women and the families, (and) we're seeing the impact of longer-term incidents of domestic violence (680 News, 10/28/09)."
That last sentence presumably means something, but neither Ms. Rudniski nor the article explained.

Allow me to translate: "Give more taxpayer money for women only rights, privileges, protections, entitlements, hand outs and giveaways, so bureaucrats like me don't have to find a real job"

You have to understand something.
If the murder rate was 0, and the reporting rate was 0 for ALL DV, they would claim they need MUCH MORE MONEY to root out why no one is reporting.

"At the agency levels, we're seeing more complex needs..." Translation: keep the government and donation money flowing. My women's study degree is not going to help pay for my abortions or a sex change operation, if I have to get a real job.

Justin, I just read your post after I posted. It means this is too obvious now.

"We're seeing more complex needs" = "We're expanding the definition of domestic violence to mean everything that a woman simply doesn't like and therefore will petition for more funds to keep our industry alive and my paycheck fat.

Looks like the femenist will have to make up some new definitions of abuse.

No not true... Domestic Violence is rampant 1 woman is killed every 30 seconds due to Domestic Violence. We need more laws to protect women and THEIR children from "men" and the horrific violence men use towards women to keep them in "oppression" and maintain the Patriarchy.

They (women) are simply worried about losing their funding and their jobs that has been based largely on a hoax called DV while everyone is lapping up the snake oil sold to us for hundreds of millions of dollars every year! Those who have tasted the spoils (CAS/CPS, lawyers, judges, doctors, etc.) are addicted for life to the money trough, the goose that lays the golden egg and they (feminists/women's groups, ancillary groups) will do ANYTHING to protect their stakes in a very lucrative racket.
I attended a board meeting at the Region of York Police Services in Newmarket, Ontario in September, where the agenda was violence against women. I was amazed at how off the rails the police board and women’s interest groups are about matters concerning DV and how they are still complaining the funding is not enough. I don't think any amount would be enough for these leeches!!!
How long are we going to tolerate this at the expense of very had working tax payers?

Exactly...!!!!
There is dire "oppression" happening to all women even if it can not be seen...

Take a look at just a few examples of recent DV pieces: Hard at work are the women's interest groups!

"According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence:
• An estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by an intimate partner every year.
• 85 percent of domestic violence victims are women, who are most frequently victimized by someone they know.
• Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to police.
• One in 12 women and one in 45 men have been stalked in their lifetime.
• 81 percent of women stalked by a former intimate partner are physically assaulted by that partner; 31 percent are sexually assaulted by that partner.
• Nearly 7.8 million women have been raped by an intimate partner sometime in their lives.
• Boys who witness domestic violence are twice as likely to abuse their own partners and children when they become adults."

This is the kind of propaganda that keeps the fire stoked nice and hot! The biggest scandal EVER that is allowed to perpetuate until we put the brakes on this massive misappropriation of public funds.
Let's not forget about all the men that are going to jail based on false DV allegations.

Attila,
I was checking out some of the links you posted with your message and I just got a kick out of your reply to this (KerriT) girl!! I was laughing so hard I guess I just didn't expect to see your name on that post, it was great man!!!
I think the reason why men are falling behind so much and so bad is that men don't think the same way women do and do not harness the same ill will toward women at least on that level. I think it is a very good possibility that women hold much more hate, vindictiveness, and scheme to do bad more than men do on a personal level. Someone once told me the meaning of evil: is to go out of your way and to continuously plan to do something bad to someone else. I think that women have done this to a much greater degree than men ever have.

Sad Dad:
Glad you got a laugh out of that post to KerriT. I never did hear back from her.
You are right. Women can be extremely vengeful if and when they want to be. I once read an analogy about men and women which roughly expressed this. Women look beautiful on the outside. Attractive, kind, warm etc. On the inside however woman are ugly, mean and rough. Whereas, men look rough and tough on the outside while they are kind, warm and beautiful on the inside. I wish I could remember where I read this to look it up again as this analogy is quite true and accurate.
The way to beat our opponent, in this case women and the likes thereof, is to use their energy against them. Redirect the negative energy they throw at you right back at them. Move the goal post often to never allow them to calculate your intentions. NEVER let women’s looks fool you!!! They know it and we must too. An excellent book to read to understand this philosophy is the Book of Five Rings about a Japanese warrior named Musashi who explains the art of war and how to defeat your enemy of one or a thousand singlehandedly. That book is worth ten times it's weight in gold!!! Ironically I asked my wife at the time to buy the book for me as a gift for my birthday. I never knew at the time that she effectively bought me her own defeat. That to me is priceless!
I am dumbfounded as to how much false propaganda there is about DV. It is astounding!!!

I think Jack Nicholson's line in "As good as it gets" says it best,
Receptionist: How do you write women so well?
Melvin Udall: I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability.
This line just about sums up the feminist industry.
